Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam®, starring the biggest performers on four wheels: Monster Jam monster trucks! The twelve-feet-tall, ten-thousand-pound machines will bring you to your feet, racing and ripping up a custom-designed track full of obstacles to soar over or smash through! Monster Jam provides a massive night’s entertainment tailored perfectly for your family’s budget, and these colorful, larger-than-life beasts are sure to capture the hearts of both young and old.
Among a record field of 10 trucks competing at this year’s Allstate Arena event will be four World Champions, including the sport’s marquee machine, the best known monster truck of all time, Grave Digger®, driven by freestyle legend Charlie Pauken. Perhaps the most striking truck on the Monster Jam® circuit, 2009 World Champion Maximum Destruction® will celebrate its 10th anniversary with the unveiling of a 2013 make-over! Max-D fans will notice some notable updates to the truck’s signature orange and silver paint job and aerodynamic, low-to-the-ground body style. Rounding out the elite line-up are the two remaining World Champions, “the raging bull,” El Toro Loco® with driver Chuck Werner, along with 2005 World Finals freestyle champion Bounty Hunter. Other standouts include Joe Sylvester’s Bad Habit, which in 2010 made monster truck history with a world record- setting jump of 208 feet, fan-favorite AAP GrinderTM, driven by Montgomery, Ill.’s own Frank Krmel, and the newest member of Team Hot Wheels, Firestorm, driven by Monster Jam® 2011 “Wow Factor of the Year” Scott Buetow of Crystal Lake, Ill.
