Overnight Getaways: Fun Spots Within 100 Miles of Chicago

There’s still snow on the ground outside my house, but my son’s school calendar insists spring break is next week. If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off the start of Spring, or planning ahead for summer, here are some great family-friendly places for overnight getaways.     Thanks for this list! Trying to plan a mini-trip for spring break. Do have any recommendations on where to stay in the city if we’re doing the museums/navy pier type stuff?
