Chicago Area Pumpkin Patch Guide 2014 - Toddling Around Chicagoland

October is all about the arrival of fall and Halloween. I’ve compiled a huge guide of Chicago Area Pumpkin Patches so you can find the one just right for your family. Admission prices do NOT include the cost of pumpkins. I do my best to be sure the information is current, accurate information, but it’s always a good idea to double check the website or call before you go.

Abbey Farms of Marmion Abbey850 Butterfield Road, Aurora, 630-966-7775

  • Open Tuesday-Thursday Noon-5:00 pm (with limited attractions), Friday Noon-10:00 pm (with limited attractions), Saturday 10:00 am-10:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am-6:00 pm. Closed Monday.
  • $11.50 person on weekends & $8.50 on weekdays, children 3 & under free with adult admission.
  • Activities available: tractor rides, 8-acre pumpkin patch, duck races, kids zip line, tractor tire climb, rope maze, teepee town, wagons, pirate ship play area, learning garden, lasso challenge, slides, inflatable, classic tractors, bouncing rodeo race, 2 corn mazes, combine slide, mega drop slide, hand pumpkin catapult, jumping pillow, and adult pedal track. Not all activities are available on weekdays or after 6:00 pm. Some activities are included in admission, but specialty activities are an additional fee. Wood fires and Night Maze are available on Friday and Saturday evenings.
  • Night admission is $6/person after 6:00 pm, but limited attractions are available after 6:00 pm.
  • Abbey Farms is run primarily by volunteers and the proceeds all go to benefit the monks of Marmion Abbey.

  • Admission $8/person on weekdays (not all activities available), $13.50/person weekends. Children 2 & under free.
  • Includes 33 barnyard activities, such as: Access to pumpkin patch with Wagon Ride, Giant Jumping Pillow, Cow Train, Pedal Karts, Obstacle course, Inflatable Slide, Moon Bounce, Corn Crib, Giant Tube Slide, Sand Box, Petting Zoo & Goat Bridge, Duck Race, Mini Zip Line Park, Tire Mountain, Spider Web, Farm House Swings, Hay Mountain, Corn maze, and more.
  • Apple picking is available while it lasts for an additional fee. Pony rides are available for $4 each, and apple/pumpkin cannon is $3.

  • Admission $9.99 Monday-Thursday, $13.99 Friday-Sunday & Columbus Day. Children 2 & under free.
  • Includes: Pig Races, Fun Barn, the Animated Spooky Haunted Barn, Feeding & Petting Zoo, Hayrack ride, 3 Acre Giant Crazy Corn Maizey, Bengston’s Kids Village, Jimmy Crack Corn Box, and Playground. Admission also includes unlimited rides on the 6 children’s rides: Twirling Honey Pots, 90′ Mega Fun Slide, Happy Swing, Flying Frogs Ride, Hootenanny Railroad, & the Frog Hopper.
  • Pony rides are $5, camel rides $7.

  • Pumpkin Playland (open weekends only), $8 for barn tours and petting farm, straw bale climber, giant corn box, spooky wood shed, Crazy Maze-y.
  • Open weekends only throughout October 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
  • Free hayrides to pumpkin patch.
  • Corn maze, corn tunnel, corn box, pumpkin launcher, children’s tractor track, and barrel rides available.
  • Open 7:00 am-6:00 pm weekdays, 9:00 am-6:00 pm weekends.
  • Hay wagon rides, farm animal corral, straw bale mini-maze, climbing bales, and apple launcher available.
  • Open every day 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
  • Hayride and corn maze $5 Monday through Friday. Ride tickets $1 each; most rides 3 tickets.

  • Free general admission.
  • $12 admission for Animal Land & Little Farmer’s Playard Friday through Sunday, $10 on Monday-Thursdays. Children under 2 free. Includes: 50 different Animals, Giraffe Barn, Little Farmers Play Yard, Corn Stalk Maze, Straw town Maze, Pumpkin Eating Dinosaur, Pig Races, Pumpkin Hut, Wooden fire truck & train, and more.
  • Pony rides, camel rides, wagon rides, jumping pillow, jumping pillow, and haunted house available for an additional $5 each per person. Gem mining is available for $7-$9.
  • NOTE: Because of construction on Higgins Road, Goebbert’s recommends you visit on weekdays, arrive early if visiting on a weekend, or visit their Hampshire location instead.
