Halloween is over and you’re probably either feeling sick from all the candy you ate last night, or you’re munching on it for breakfast (hey, you’ve got all day to work off those calories!). In my house we’ve got a TON of candy – the kids got lots from trick-or-treating and we had a lot left over. What do you do with all the candy? Here are a few ideas:
- Find a Halloween Candy Buy Back near you. Many dentists exchange candy for money or prizes and you can enter your zipcode on the Candy Buy Back site to find participating offices near you.
- Freeze it. Read instructions on how to freeze candy and then you can thaw it out throughout the year to eat or use it for recipes.
- Send it to troops overseas through Operation Gratitude.
- Make a yummy treat with it. Try out these Butterfinger Crunch Cupcakes. You can find lots of great leftover candy recipes on Pinterest.
