Other amenities: There are vendors everywhere selling glow-in-the-dark toys, Rapunzel braids, light up wands, and other items. There are vendors at tables throughout the venue and vendors walking through the stands. Expect to pay at least $20 for a shirt and $30 for a stuffed animal.

Food: Vendors sell lots of food at tables and in the stands – hots dogs, nachos, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, etc. Prices are about $12 for cotton candy (which comes with a free plastic hat) or a sno-cone in a plastic Disney cup.

We paid: We received complimentary tickets to see the show. If we had purchased tickets using the MOM code they would have cost approximately $36 each ($28 each plus fees) for a total of $144. Campbell is under 2 and sat on our laps so he didn’t need a ticket.

Our experience:

Disney On Ice: Let's Celebrate - Toddling Around Chicagoland

We’ve been to several Disney shows and they’re always entertaining. I wasn’t sure how Campbell would behave since he’s only a year old, but he was actually pretty entertained for the whole first half of the show. After intermission he was a bit more antsy, so John and I each took a turn taking him out to the lobby area to give him a chance to walk around.

All of the Disney shows feature Mickey and Minnie as hosts; you can also always expect to see lots of princesses and their princes.

Let’s Celebrate is filled with celebrations. It starts with an “un-birthday” party with the Mickey crew (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald), Alice in Wonderland characters, and Pinocchio.

One of the best parts in my opinion was the Halloween haunt with Jack Skellington and several of the Disney villains. Although my kids were fine, the villains may have been a bit scary to some kids; a little girl behind us seemed upset and her parents took her into the hall for a bit.

Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen take the audience off to Mardi Gras, and all the princesses come together for a Royal Valentine’s Day Ball.

Lilo and Stitch celebrated with a luau and Cooper couldn’t stop laughing about a character surfing on the ice. Buzz, Woody, and Jessie celebrated a winter wonderland. Seeing the Toy Story friends – the pig, the troll doll, and T-Rex – were pretty amazing.

Let’s Celebrate was a lively show that kept the kids (and parents) entertained. The huge range of characters is sure to please everyone. The costumes are always amazing and after the show the kids are always talking about their favorite costumes.
