Food: The Jelly Belly Store has a Snack Bar where they sell things like hot dogs, grilled cheese, and potato chips; meals are $4-$6. You can view the Snack Bar menu online. There are also picnic tables outside. You might be able to buy a little candy there too.

Don’t miss: The Sample Bar – all the jelly bean flavors and other candy available for you to sample. Check out the “BeanBoozled” flavors – these look like your favorites like Buttered Popcorn and Juicy Pear, but they’re really Rotten Egg and Booger, and eight other weird and disgusting flavors.

We paid: About $5.00 on candy.
Our experience:  We waited about 15 minutes to get started on our tour. As you enter the factory, there’s a tv playing “Ant Bully” to watch while you’re waiting. When it’s time to start your tour, you’re given a paper Jelly Belly hat and board the Jelly Belly Express train. The train circles the warehouse, which is decorated with giant candy hanging from the ceiling and paintings of candy on the walls. The tram drives around the warehouse, stopping several times for movies telling about the history of Jelly Belly, how the candy is made, candy artwork, “Belly Flops” (imperfect jelly beans), and how the candy is flavored. The tour is about half an hour long. The boys did get a little bored watching the films after a while, but at the end of the tour everyone gets a free bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans, so that seemed to perk them up. The tour ends at the store and snack bar, where you can buy every flavor of jelly bean and lots of other candy, plus Jelly Belly gear like t-shirts, water bottles, and toys.

** If you’re interested in letterboxing, be sure you check out AtlasQuest.com before you visit; there’s a letterbox very close to the Jelly Belly Visitor Center, and lots more nearby.
