Ask anyone with kids and they’ll tell you parenting is full of adventures.
My youngest brother and his wife had their first baby earlier this month. Watching them as new parents reminds me of the first few months after Cooper was born. As excited as I was about becoming a mom, but I really had no idea what was coming. Cooper was very colicky and the only thing that soothed him was breastfeeding. It felt like I never left the couch because, well, I hardly ever did. In the first few month, Netflix was an absolute lifesaver. I often suggest Netflix as a perfect gift for new parents.
Fast forward almost eight years, and Netflix is still helping me with my parenting adventures.
Dragons: Race to the Edge, a Netflix original series began streaming this month and my kids, who are huge fans of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, noticed them right away. They were extra excited when we got a very special package from the Netflix #StreamTeam.
I love these snacks! Super easy to do at home too!
Who cares if it’s July? The kids like getting comfy under their new Dragons blanket.
In the Dragons: Race to the Edge series, Hiccup and Toothless learn that there is more outside of Berk. It changes their perspective and leads to new adventures.
This week’s parenting “adventure” has been a sick kid. Cooper’s been feeling yucky. It’s hard keeping the kids occupied when we can’t get out of the house, but we’ve had to take it easy at home while he wasn’t well. Luckily, Dragons: Race to the Edge makes my kids feel like they’re part of the adventure too. I’m so thankful that it’s helped brighten their days.
