Tummy Stuffers Review

Dexter is three and for the past year or so he’s been obsessed with packing bags. He loves storing stuff in backpacks, tote bags, pockets, buckets, hats… pretty much anything he can get his hands on. He carries the bag (or other vessel) around and pretends to be traveling. He also loves stuffed animals. His bed is full of stuffed animals every night. I think both of these things are pretty typical for a 3-year-old; I remember Cooper going through both of those phases too.

When I heard about Tummy Stuffers I knew Dexter would be excited. Tummy Stuffers are stuffed animals that you can fill with stuff!

Tummy Stuffers are available in Unicorn, Monkey, Ladybug, Dog, Gator, and Kitty. Tummy Stuffers are $19.99 plus $8.99 shipping & handling. Right now when you order a 13″ Tummy Stuffer you receive an additional 8″ Tummy Stuffer for free.

I was impressed with the Tummy Stuffer. The fur is very soft and cuddly. The mouth (complete with tongue hanging out, of course) is open so you can stuff the tummy with all kinds of things – toys, books, clothes. My kids love filling it with random toys and other small things they find around the house, but the Tummy Stuffer would be a good size to hold a change of clothes and pajamas for an overnight stay too.

Cooper wanted to show off all the stuff he fit into our Tummy Stuffer, so here it is:

All that important stuff that kids like to carry around! You can see that the Tummy Stuffer looks a little smaller with an empty belly, and then rounds out (in the previous pictures) when his belly is full. There isn’t a strap to carry the Tummy Stuffer, but the kids don’t seem to mind.

The kids really enjoy the Tummy Stuffer and sometimes argue about who will get to use it; we may have to buy another one!
