Fun & Fundraising with The Pasta Shoppe – Review & Giveaway

It’s getting chilly and chilly weather calls for pasta. We recently received a sample package of pasta from the Pasta Shoppe and we’ve been enjoying some great hearty meals.

The Pasta Shoppe sells pasta in fun shapes – every kind of theme you can think of from music to pink ribbon to zoo animals. Use the Happy Birthday pasta for a special birthday dinner, or Eat Your Heart Out pasta for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary dinner. If you’re looking for something fancier, Petite Pasta Nests and finish off your meal with Devine Meringues.

We had an opportunity to try a bit of everything and it was all yummy. The kids really can’t get enough of shaped pasta. They’re big fans of pasta already, but if it’s served with anything but red pasta sauce they’re usually not interested. I can get away with serving alfredo sauce or chili with shaped pasta though!

Besides the fun shaped pasta, we tried some Petite Pasta Nests (I didn’t do a good job of keeping the pasta nest shaped, but it still tasted really good).

We also tried the chicken soup mix and chili mix. They were very easy to make, made HUGE pots of soup/chili, and they were really good.

The pasta, even the ones that aren’t mixes, have recipes on the packages! I love that. One of them had a recipe for pasta pizza that I think the boys will love. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

Campbell even loved eating some of the chicken soup (minus the chicken and the broth).
