A few month’s ago, my brother’s brother-in-law (my sister-in-law’s brother) Army Ranger Brad Hojek was serving overseas when he was shot multiple times. Brad was seriously wounded and is still at a rehabilitation center recovering from his injuries. In order to assist with Brad’s recovery, a benefit is being held at Bourbon Street in a few weeks.

Location: Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St, Merrionette Park 

Hours: 2:00 pm – 7:00pm. Drop in any time!

Admission: $25 for adults ($30 at the door), and $10 for kids 6-12 years old ($15 at the door); children under 6 are free. Tickets can be purchased online.

Food: Food, beer, & wine are included in the price of admission.

Entertainment/activities: Live music by Bernie Glim and the Country Roads Band and Slippery When Wet at 4:30 pm. There will be raffles, Split the Pot, a silent auction, and children’s activities.

Donations: Donations of prizes for the raffles or silent auction, or other donations, are greatly appreciated. Donation information can be viewed online. Any money not needed for Brad’s recovery will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
