Saturday, November 14 (tomorrow!) is Neighborhood Toy Store Day, a day to support your local toy store and for local toy stores to connect with the community.
Building Blocks Toy Store is celebrating with a special event at both of their locations.
The Lakeview location will be hosting Hogwarts Day from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with:
- a visit with Rubeus Hagrid & his secret friend
- Professor Sybil Trelawney hosting private Divination sessions
- Hogwarts-themed glitter tattoos & facepainting
- an extra treat for showing your Hogwarts spirit by dressing creatively
- a sorting had to put your name in for cool prizes including a Harry Potter coloring book and a Beanboozled game
The Wicker Park location is hosting an Elmo and friends playdate from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with:
- Elmo
- Dora
- Peppa the Pig
- dancing, glitter tattoos, balloons, and fun
- a chance to win an Ultimate Toddler Friends prize
