I have a quick good deed you can do right now: go click “like” on the Wild Garden Foods Facebook page and someone will get a free meal!
Wild Garden® Foods will be touring Chicago for four days, May 15 through May 18, making stops to share their love of Mediterranean food with free meals for the community. The Social Kitchen Tour will be powered by Facebook “likes”, with one free lunch or dinner served for each new like on the Wild Garden Goods Facebook page.
“We couldn’t be more excited to launch the Wild Garden® Social Kitchen Tour to share our food with those searching for new flavors and to those in need of a meal. It’s a remarkable feeling to help feed someone no matter where you live through the power of social media,” comments Co-Founder of Wild Garden®, Nezar Ziyad.
Wild Garden® hopes to serve over 5,000 free hot, Mediterranean meals made with the company’s foods, snacks and sweets.
Check the Wild Garden Facebook page each morning during the tour for schedule announcements and the first 50 people in line will get a tote bag full of Wild Garden® goodies. There will also be a chance to win free Wild Garden® food for a year!
Members of the Wild Garden® team along with local celebrities will serve Chicagoans during two shifts. During the lunch shift, the truck will be parked in busy lunch areas, while the evening shift will focus on a soup kitchen or shelter.
