The whole Toddling crew loves LEGOs and we’re big fans of the Legoland Discovery Center. Right now, Legoland is searching for a Creative Crew and this sounds like a fun contest! My 7-year-old can’t wait to enter. Here’s the information so your child can try to become part of the Legoland Discovery Center’s Creative Crew, too!
Calling all kids: Enter to win a spot on LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago’s first-ever Creative Crew – a special team that will work side by side with LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago’s Master Model Builder.
15 lucky winners will be selected to serve on the Creative Crew for one year. Each winner will receive:
o Invitations to exclusive quarterly meetings with Master Model Builder, David Howard
o VIP access to special LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago events
o A family Annual Pass to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago
o Creative Crew T-shirt and prize packThe contest is open to children ages 5 to 10. To enter, show or tell us what your ideal LEGO® workshop would look like. Entries will be accepted in the form of drawings or creative writing (200 words or less). Winners will be judged on creativity and will be chosen by LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago’s Master Model Builder, David Howard.
“Every Master Model Builder needs a special space to create – whether it’s a LEGO workshop in outer space, a towering tree house or simply a special spot at the dining room table where you can build with mom and dad,” Howard said. “I hope this gives kids an opportunity to use their imaginations and think about what inspires them to build.”Entries can be emailed to contest@legolanddiscoverycenter.com or mailed to Creative Crew, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, 601 N Martingale Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2015.
