Legoland Discovery Center has always been a favorite attraction for us and we’ve been annual pass holders for 2 years now. The kids love Miniland, and the play area, the rides, and just building with Legos, but their favorite thing to do there is see the 4D movies. They were thrilled to find out a new movie was being added and we were getting a sneak peek at it.
The movies at Legoland Discovery Center are 4D movies, meaning that in addition to the 3D movie you also experience wind flurries, rain, lightning, and even snow in the theatre. The movies are about 15 minutes long so they’re great for young children. They run the movies one after another and there are usually two or three of them in the rotation.
The Legends of Chima is the new movie now playing at Legoland Discovery Center. The Legends of Chima is a Lego theme about a land filled with tribal animals who often battle because of a force called Chi found in a river. The movie follows animals on a tour of Chima, eventually getting trapped in the middle of a battle between two different tribes. The movie appealed to my boys (including John) – some racing, fighting, and even fart jokes.
The Legends of Chima movie is now open to the public at the Legoland Discovery Center.

Disclosure: My family was invited to a complimentary event to preview the new 4D movie. All opinions are my own.
