Buckingham Fountain prepares to #SwitchonSummer2018

The start of Spring in Chicago brings not just warm weather and colorful blooms, but also an increase in the number of free things to do. Buckingham Fountain, an iconic Chicago attraction, wakes from its winter slumber soon to entertain Chicagoans and visitors with hourly displays, including music and lights after dusk.

Be there to celebrate the magic when it begins at the Buckingham Fountain #SwitchOnSummer2018 event on May 6, 2018 from Noon to 3:00 pm.

Buckingham Fountain is located at 301 S. Columbus Drive in Chicago, just across from Lake Michigan, in the center of Grant Park.

The fountain switches on at 2:00 pm, but there’s plenty to do at the fountain before and after with free giveaways, activities, games, and live entertainment from Sixteen Candles thanks to a multitude of sponsors, including The Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum, the Joffrey Ballet, Old Town School of Folk Music, and many, many more.
