The end is near! The end of school, that is. My kids are already out and I know lots of other school districts are too, or will be soon. I love having my kids home and enjoying summer activities with them, but summer vacation also means it’s a little harder to get some time without kids.
This week I was invited to a #MomsDayOut at Gurnee Mills mall. That’s right – I was in a mall with no kids. It’s a rare occurrence. What’s even more rare is that I shopped for me, and only me!
Gurnee Mills has a huge Memorial Day sale this weekend so I shopped around and found some really great deals. #MemorialDaySuperSale for the win!
My wardrobe could definitely use a little refreshing, and I found a ton of cute stuff at the Gap with great prices.
There are sales going on all over the mall.
As silly as it is, I was pretty excited about these colorful silicone kitchen tools; they’ll keep my new pots and pans scratch-free.
I haven’t been to Gurnee Mills in a long time; in fact, I can remember exactly how long it’s been. I was really surprised to find a lot of fun activities in the mall too. There’s an arcade, movie theatre, mirror maze, inflatable play place, and even an ice rink! Now that’s something I haven’t seen in any other malls. It makes me think I might just have to return with kids to check out some of the fun stuff we can do.
Have you shopped Gurnee Mills recently? Guess what?? I have a #GurneeMillsGiveaway! They provided me with a gift card to give away to a lucky Toddling Around Chicagoland reader! Enter by filling out the entry form below. Good luck!
