Goodnight Moon The Musical Giveaway & Discount – website
If you’ve got a young child, I’m betting you’re familiar with the book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. The Chicago Children’s Theatre is currently presenting Goodnight Moon The Musical. This is an all-ages performance at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre at 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. The show runs through December 23 and there is a show schedule available online. There are no shows on Mondays, but shows most other weekdays at 10:15 and, and weekends at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Tickets are $26 for children and $36 for adults. (The Chicago Children’s Theatre puts on a great show.. check out my previous post about one of their previous shows, Dot & Ziggy.)
Pajama Party performances will be on Friday, November 11, December 9, and December 16 at 7:00 pm. For these performances, families are encouraged to wear pajamas to the show, and a milk-and-cookies reception will be offered after the show.
The Chicago Children’s Theatre is working with the Pajama Program and Scholastic Books. There will be a donation box available in the lobby during each show for donations of new pajamas. For each new pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Books will donate an early learning book for disadvantaged children.
