The Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC is free everyday, but on September 28, 2013 museums across the country will be honoring the Smithsonian by offering free admission. Museum Day Live! is an event hosted by the Smithsonian Museum every year and participating museums will be offering two free tickets per household.
The tickets are valid only for general admission and do not include any fees for parking or special exhibits or events. To claim your ticket, fill out the online form on the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live! site.
