Soccer has been consistently growing in popularity over the years, with both boys and girls – more than 3 million of them in 2014 – enrolled in U.S. Youth Soccer (according to the U.S. Youth Soccer website.)
If you’ve got a soccer lover in your house, you might have seen the SkillTwins on YouTube, or maybe you’re even one of over a million people subscribed to their YouTube channel.
The SkillTwins are Josef and Jakob – 19-year-old identical twins form Sweden. Josef and Jakob have become famous as a result of their YouTube videos showcasing their soccer footwork skills. In fact, some of the biggest names in the world of soccer, such as Ozil Zidane, Neymar Messi, and Christiano Ronaldo, have highlighted their skills.
Now you don’t have to rely on YouTube videos to learn from the SkillTwins. The SkillTwins are making their first trip to the United States, and beginning on August 3 they’ll be in Villa Park at Addison Youth Soccer offering a 3-week camp session. Kids will improve their ball control and footwork and learn new techniques from this amazing pair.
Kids ages 7 to 18 (high school senior level max) are eligible to participate, and kids will be grouped according to age and skill level.
