Back to School Shopping at The Children’s Place
My family was invited to The Children’s Place to do some back to school shopping recently. I’ve purchased a few things from The Children’s Place before when the boys were younger, but it’s been a while since I’ve been there.
We visited The Children’s Place at Harlem-Irving Plaza and it’s huge! We had a tour around the store and I was really impressed with the selection and the prices – jeans for $10, shirts for $5, and excellent prices on all the uniform necessities. The newborn and girls clothes were adorable, but of course we focused on the boys clothes. Luckily, they were pretty cute too!
After checking out the layout of the store, we all headed straight for the hats. The boys each picked one and insisted on wearing them while we shopping and almost constantly since then! We also picked out jeans, t-shirts, and plaid shirts.
I was a bit jealous of the moms shopping for the girly stuff; I’m not usually into all the pink, frilly things, but I really liked most of the stuff they had. Unfortunately, none of it was in my size.
The boys were really excited about the clothes they got and they were anxious to show them off, complete with modeling poses, of course.
I loved the prices! I didn’t even look at the clearance section and that’s a first for me! The regular prices were so good there was no need. Our total came out to about $110 with tax and we were able to get two full outfits for the boys as well as an extra shirt for each of them. Here’s the haul – two pairs of jeans, two plaid shirts, four t-shirts, and two hats.
I will definitely be returning to The Children’s Place or shopping at their online site. Right now you can pick up graphic tees for only $5 and up, and jeans for only $10 a pair! You really can’t beat those prices.
Where do you do your back to school shopping?
My family was invited to The Children’s Place and received a gift card for back to school shopping. All opinions expressed are my own.
Look at how stylish those guys are!!! Looks like a blast!!
I didn’t realize that was where they got those stylish hats from – the girls are both asking for some, so I may have to brave the mall soon!
