We paid: Our check was approximately $80 before tip. We ordered two 10 oz prime rib dinners and pop, two kids meals with juice, and two desserts (the kids meals came with desserts so we just had to order for me and John). We had a $50 gift certificate I won from a giveaway on Kidgrade so we only paid $30 plus tip.
Our experience:
We visited Weber Grill on a Saturday afternoon. John and I have been to Weber Grill before and loved it, but this was our first time trying it with kids.
The kitchen faces the dining area which looks pretty cool, but it was a bit chaotic trying to get to the bathrooms. There were several servers moving around and although they were very polite and let us through, I felt like we were in their way.
The kids got crayons and coloring books to keep them busy while we ordered. They also brought some fabulous pretzel rolls with two kinds of butter – regular and I think the other was BBQ. I’m not sure, but it was so yummy.
John and I ordered prime rib (the smaller one so we could save room for dessert!) and I was thrilled with the kids menu. Kids have a choice of hot dog, pizza, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, BBQ ribs, meatloaf, or steak skewers. The kids meals are only $6.95 (except for the steak skewers which are $7.95) and include a small drink, fruit, tater tots, seasonal vegetables, and a cookie and ice cream dessert! Both boys chose ribs and seemed to enjoy them.
Our prime rib was delicious. SO good. And when we cleaned our plates we couldn’t pass up dessert (besides, the boys got dessert with their meals so John and I had to get some too, right?).
John ordered the key lime pie, which was HUGE, and delicious. I got the lemon creme brulee and I thought it was fabulous. John tried it too but he thought it was way too lemony for his taste. Cooper and Dexter’s desserts looked really good too – cookies with milk chocolate and white chocolate chips and ice cream – their choice of vanilla, chocolate, or cinnamon.
We had a fantastic meal and I thought it was a really good value, especially for the kids meals. We hope to return soon!
Oh we used to go to Weber grill before kids, nice to know its kid-friendly!
